A social-behavioral researcher by training, Susan brings experience utilizing community-based participatory methods to address health disparities afflicting refugee and immigrant communities. She is passionate about creating social and physical environments that support the health and well-being of marginalized communities.
Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies with a minor in Public Health from the University of California Los Angeles. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist.
