About Us

In response to calls from within the refugee community for assistance with unemployment and underemployment, we’re working with refugee women to launch a catering cooperative. The cooperative, owned and operated by the women, will promote healthy eating at home and in the community and teach financial literacy and job skills to refugee women and their daughters. We also plan to provide entrepreneurship opportunities for women to use their unique skills and creativity to build their own model of social stability. To do so, we are looking to partner with nonprofits, governmental agencies, and non-governmental agencies to support members of San Diego’s refugee community in fulfilling their hopes to lead healthy, successful lives in the United States.
