Adriana Bearse is an Evaluation Manager supporting the ¡Más Fresco! More Fresh Plus Nutrition Incentive Program. Adriana’s role includes planning and managing evaluation data collection, analysis, and reporting to understand and demonstrate program impact on the communities served and inform improvements and future initiatives.

Adriana has close to fifteen years of experience developing, managing, implementing, and evaluating health programs and research projects across hospital/health center, government, nonprofit and community settings. Her expertise includes using community-based participatory methodologies to improve health for vulnerable populations. She is bilingual in English/Spanish, and has worked across multiple health and social service topics. Most recently, she served as a Program Manager for a federally qualified health center in San Diego, overseeing clinic- and community-based health education and research programs focused on nutrition, chronic disease, diabetes, and COVID-19. Adriana has also worked in evaluation consulting and hospital community benefits, spearheading activities including needs assessment, evaluation planning, instrument design, data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and reporting. She also has experience in grant/proposal writing and has contributed to multiple health systems and intervention research manuscripts.

Adriana holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Brown University and a master’s degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences along with a Certificate in Health Communications from the Harvard School of Public Health. She is passionate about using community-engaged approaches to improve health equity, and committed to leveraging her experience to contribute to these efforts at CCH.

Adriana joined the Center for Community Health in 2022.
