The Live Well Community Market Program at UC San Diego’s Center for Community Health works with small neighborhood food markets to improve healthy food access in San Diego. We’ve been working on a BIG project with African Caribbean Market, the market’s shoppers, and multiple City Heights stakeholders. Join us to help bring this new design to life! Volunteers will help paint the interior, exterior, and sidewalk, construct benches, create a vertical garden space, and more! All levels of skill and expertise welcome and appreciated!
