Congratulations to the winners of the Breastfeeding-Friendly Workplace Awards!
The Center for Community Health would like to congratulate the winners of the San Diego County Breastfeeding Coalition’s (SDCBC) Breastfeeding-Friendly Workplace Awards! All winners and runners-up are partners of the Lactation Supportive Environments (LSE) Initiative.
Winners included: Northgate González Markets, Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego, Fallbrook Union Elementary and CH2MHill
Runners-up included: Julian Union Elementary School District, Julian Union High School District, Carlsbad Unified School District, Community Health Improvement Partners, City of La Mesa, City of Del Mar, and Viejas Casino
In addition we would like to congratulate the recipient of the 2015 Breastfeeding Champion of the Year award, Jennifer Wheeler, who oversees the LSE grant through First 5 and is an active member of the LSE advisory team.
