Jessica Chapman is a Research Project Manager supporting the HEALthy 4 You Project (ACEs). Jessica is responsible for planning and managing the administrative and programmatic operations as well as financial support of the project. She also helps build positive relationships with other departments at UCSD, local clinics, and community organizations to ensure the successful execution of the project.

Jessica has over ten years of experience working in public health. Since 2015, she has worked throughout San Diego County, supporting communities to gain access to essential health resources. She began her career in coalition and capacity building. She continued her work as a Program Supervisor at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), overseeing social media, community education, and peer health education programming. She has dedicated her career to amplifying the voices of those who often don’t have “a seat” at the decision-making table. Jessica has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of San Diego in International Relations and French and a Master’s in Gender and Development from the Institute for Development Studies at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England.

Jessica joined the Center for Community Health in 2022.
