Overcoming Barriers to Health – (New Video!)

Through photography, the young women of Overcoming Barriers to Health collectively identified health issues and then used their images to create a dialogue surrounding the root causes and implications of health disparities within their community. Throughout the program, participants worked toward creating a photo essay highlighting challenges faced by newly arrived immigrants and refugees in accessing healthy foods with the purpose of raising their voice and bringing their findings directly to the community.
