Jessica Chapman, M.A. is a Research Project Manager at the UCSD Center for Community Health, supporting the HEALthy4You Project. Jessica is responsible for planning and managing the administrative and programmatic operations as well as financial support of the project. She also helps build positive relationships with other departments at UCSD, at local clinics, and community organizations to ensure successful execution of the of the project.

Jessica has over 10 years of experience working in public health. For the past six years she has worked throughout San Diego County supporting communities gain access to essential health resources. She began her career in coalition and capacity building. She continued her work in San Diego as a Program Supervisor at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) overseeing social media, community education and a peer health education program. She has dedicated her career to amplifying the voices of those who often don’t have “a seat” at the decision-making table. Jessica has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of San Diego in International Relations and French and a Master’s Degree in Gender and Development from the Institute for Development Studies at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England.
