Amid the daily uncertainty of COVID-19, our San Diego County Childhood Obesity Initiative (COI) team strives to address the emotional, mental, and physical challenges emerging in our communities. We have entirely transitioned to working remotely in order to conduct proper social distancing. For the months of April and May, all COI domain meetings will occur via Zoom. We know that this is a large and unprecedented shift. Without regular in-person contact, we understand that levels of social isolation and stress have increased.

We want to continue to strengthen our communication to ensure that we are doing everything we can to support one another. We have compiled a list of community and government resources to keep individuals, families, and businesses informed throughout this ever-changing time. We have organized this list by domain so that anyone looking through these links can find the ones most relevant to them. We encourage any additional feedback on how our COI team can continue to support all of our partners and community members.

The COI team has compiled a list of resources related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Visit the page here
